EVA 2: Genesis Rock

Title

EVA 2: Genesis Rock

Subject

Geology

Description

This video focuses on the discovery of the “Genesis rock” at the 145:42 point during EVA 2. This rock is one of the best known samples from Apollo 15, in part because it was the first discovery of crystalline rock on the Moon, aside from small pieces in soil samples.
