This build allows you to freely explore the exhibit using the A/S/D/W keys and mouse or trackpad. Explore the virtual exhibit and learn about Apollo 15 on the 50th anniversary of the mission in the Emory library!

This larger build of the exhibit has a very detailed version of the space with moving videos. It loads best on a desktop with wired internet connection and may not load on all laptops. Not mobile friendly.

The optimal resolution for the Apollo 15 exhibit experience is between 1024x768 and 1920x1080px. Recommended memory footprint for a seamless experience would be at least 2GB RAM for the browser. Compatible with most browsers.

Instructions:


  • Loading time:
    • The first time you load up the virtual exhibit may take 45 seconds to 1 minute 30 seconds. It's worth it!
  • Which version?
    • Choose the right version from above for your needs!
    • The 'High Polygon Desktop Build' loads best on a desktop computer with wired internet.
    • The 'Free Explore' version will load on most laptops on wifi.
    • These builds are not mobile friendly.
    • Browser: Only the 'High Polygon Desktop Build' below loads on the Edge and Chrome browsers. For the 'Free Explore' version please use Mozilla Firefox or Safari.
  • Navigate:
    • Explore with A/S/D/W keys.
    • W goes forward. S goes backward. A turns left. D turns right.
  • Zoom:
    • Hit the "Z" key to zoom in on the posters.
  • Pause menu (escape):
    • Press the "esc" key to pause the experience.
    • Escape will bring up the pause menu while exploring the virtual space.
    • To re-engage, press the "esc" key once again!
    • Use the pause menu to reposition the cursor, to change the mouse sensitivity, or to check the map.
    • Click on the gear icon in the pause menu to change the mouse speed.
